SSAB Laminated Steel has one of the widest ranges of film-laminated sheet steel available on the market. The steel comes from the Swedish modern steelworks of SSAB Tunnplåt, our parent company, in Borlänge. The actual film lamination is carried out in a very flexible production plant at SSAB Laminated Steel in Ronneby, where we have accumulated more than 25 years of experience of film lamination.

Success at Nordbygg 2008
Our first participation in a non-marine related exhibition was a huge success! We would like to thank all of you who discovered us for the first time and all of you who visited us during the exhibition and made it a better experience than we ever could have imagined. We would also like to thank you for all the new ideas of how and where to use our products.
For the second exhibition in a row we promoted the Dobel Aulux. Again we received a very positive response, not just for the Dobel Aulux but for all our different products, and we are hoping for good continuous cooperations with several of you.

Light laboratory at Nordbygg 2008
That different kinds of lights make colours and surfaces change is common knowledge for most people working with architecture or design. At Nordbygg 2008 the visitors will be able to see themselves how different materials and colours change in different ways with different kinds of lights. Naturally SSAB Laminated Steel has provided with samples that will be available in this light laboratory.
This is a cooperation between Materialbiblioteket and Visuella Världar with the help from all the companies that have provided them with material samples to use.

Exchange of substrate
As from the first quarter of year 2008, at the request of our steel suppliers, we will gradually replace our substrate SUB250 with substrate SUB280 since they will exclude this substrate from their range of steel.
How will this affect You? Hopefully not at all. The substrates have almost identical properties, although SUB280 is a slightly harder steel than SUB250. See table below:

Dobel Aulux - a bit more luxurious, a lot more natural
Premiere show on Nor-Shipping 2007 - a success!
The premiere of our new design, Dobel Aulux, turned out to be a great success. There was a lot of serious interest but also a very positive response from people just passing by.
Dobel Aulux - a wood imitating laminate with a touch of gold or silver. This metallic effect gives the wood print a new dimension and makes it come alive so it looks even more natural, very elegant.
Dobel Aulux is a part of the Dobel F105 family and is therefore fire classified. This makes it suitable everywhere where our regular wood foil laminated steel sheets are used.

We are now also represented by RAW Sweden. They have a stationary exhibition at RAW Mill in Mölndal/Gothenburg, Sweden, were you can look at and touch our material as well as others.
