SSAB Tunnplåt, our parent company, is one of the world's leading producers of high strength steels. These steels are distinguished by very consistent and well-defined mechanical properties. The core material of Dobel is zinc-coated sheet steel, which doubles the protection against corrosion.
It is produced in the same process as the high strength steels and automatically acquires very consistent properties. Dobel therefore always has consistently good formability and can be worked using the methods normally employed in industry for cutting, bending, pressing or punching.
